<h4 class="dechead">On One Hand: Perceived Benefits
According to the pharmaceutical company, Bremenn Research Labs, during a "double-blind clinical trial, in which more than 72 percent of women who had serious dark circles and used Hylexin's key compound saw an obvious, tangible, visible reduction in the color and severity of their dark circles." It appeared to these women as if their skin was younger and thicker.
On the Other: Actual Benefits
According to the experts at Bremann Lab, "Hylexin reduces the appearance of serious dark circles by helping to reduce hemoglobin degradation byproducts through optimization of enzymatic activity in the peri-orbital tissue." It may make skin around the eye look thicker, because it is not as sallow or discolored.
Bottom Line
Hylexin does not actually thicken the skin around the eyes. But by making the skin appear a more natural, younger color, the skin around the eyes may appear fuller and thicker.
