Home care is designed to help seniors live happy, healthy lives in the comfort of their own home. Often ordered by a physician and covered by insurance, home care provides several options to help preserve independence and quality of life.
Skilled Nursing
Administered by registered nurses, this option offers seniors access to health assessments, disease education, wound care, nutrition and IV management.
Therapy
Home care therapy options include illness, injury or post-surgical recovery aid and speech, respiratory or physical therapy assistance.
Hospice
Hospice options provide medical and psychological care for terminally ill patients and their caregivers in the last several months of life.
Personal Assistance
Personal assistance options can include anything that may have at one time been addressed by the client such as cooking, cleaning or transportation needs. This may also include assistance with bathing, dressing, eating or taking medications.
Live-in Care
Live-in care is provided when the primary caregiver cannot be there in person and the recipient needs round-the-clock support.
Respite Care
Designed to provide support to the primary caregiver, respite care offers a brief reprieve from daily duties by taking over the care-giving role for a period of time.
