  • Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows you to connect small, personal devices, such as a cell phone, to a computer or other Bluetooth devices. It is also used to connect wireless headsets to a phone. You can pair Bluetooth-enabled cell phones and share files and phone numbers. If you download music onto your cell phone, all you need is a computer with Bluetooth enabled, or a USB Bluetooth adapter to transfer files.

    Downloading Music from Bluetooth

Turn on your computer, go the the system menu and enable Bluetooth. If you have a USB adapter, plug it in and enable it to search for other devices. Name this connection "Blue 1" in the "Options" menu on the computer. On your cell phone or other Bluetooth device go to the Bluetooth menu. Select "Enable Bluetooth" or "Search for Bluetooth Devices." Once it has found "Blue 1," select "Pair with Device." This will establish a wireless connection between your computer and Bluetooth device. On the device, select "Enable File Transfer." On the computer's file browser, locate the Bluetooth device and open its folder. You can browse the device's content in this folder. Locate the folder where you save music on your Bluetooth device and open it. Create a new folder on your computer's desktop and drag-and-drop the music files from the Bluetooth folder to the new one.
