Car tires are made of hard composite rubber, metal wires, soft halobutyl rubber and reinforcing fabric, such as kevlar, rayon, polyester and nylon. The tire is made of three layers, which are the outer hard composite rubber, the reinforcing fabric and a soft rubber specialized in holding air, called halobutyl rubber. Metal wires reinforce the side wall.
