How do people like the Google founders make so much money with their search engines?

    As far as I can see, there are two main revenue streams:

    1) Advertisment
    2) Sale of Products

    The first is clear, the second may be less obvious. Google sells their technology to other businesses. They have different products, for example search appliances. You can look at them here:
