Two different things. That which you experience as bad/evil may in fact cause something wonderful to happen in your life. It was not "in spite of" but "because of". Example...we were forced to move out of our apartment because the new owners doubled the rent within one year and we could not afford it. That was bad as far as we were concerned but that "bad" forced us to find another place which we love, is reasonably priced and we are very happy here. We didn't move here "in spite of" but "because of"! Happy Wednesday! :)
Because good might actually come from it, not in spite of it.

Because they mean two different things?
Cause humans, overall, are very stupid creatures
acceptance vs. resentment.
spite suggests a good or bad judgment has been made on what cannot be changed.
Because humans are stupid disgusting creatures
