i got paddled once in school.i had to take 5 pretty hard swats in a row.i was told to bend over and grab the back of my legs.i took 5 swats and it did hurt pretty bad.i think 1 or 2 swats would have been fine.more than that is too many.

Actually, in most states "paddling" a student is still competely legal. The law sets limitations as to the size and width of the paddle, but it is completely legal in most states for the disciplinarian or headmaster to paddle a child.
I want to be a lobbyist for education. Volunteer or paid. I'm 22 and 3yrs of college. How do I do this?
