You need to put your nano into "DFU" mode or recovery mode and then restore the whole thing. The easiest thing would be to just take it to a Genius Bar in your local Apple Store. They can fix it right up. Sometimes if it's not covered under an AppleCare plan they will charge you but for the nano it shouldn't be more than $30. If it is more, then my advice to you would be to just save up and buy a new one... preferably an iphone or ipod touch because those are much easier to debug when problems occur.

You're reading a ipod nano always only shows up a apple sign then a white light flashes then turns off and it repeats the same doing what do i need to do
