Does anyone know what an octave is for keyboard notes?
And how do you read it?

• If you don't understand my answer you don't really know anything about music. Try a self-help book on learning to read music. It's not hard.

• Maybe your right but its not that i know 'nothing' about music. i found that a litle racist ( He He He just kidding). I don't even know how to read music. but i enjoy playing on my keyboard. i kinda get it. thanx for the help.

• Seriously, there are all kinds of books you can buy to get you started. Maybe this will help you understand octave. Play the chord CEG with your right hand. Look to the right of your hand, skip two white keys, and place you hand there again on CEG. The two chords you just played were one octave apart. Maybe that'll help.
