Does anyone know what an octave is for keyboard notes?
And how do you read it?

    On the piano if you play a note, then count every key (black key and white keys) to the right then on the 12th note you get to should be one octave above and like wise one octave below is 12 notes to the left.

    7 consecutive whole steps make an octave. From C to C is an octave, from F to F is an octave. From B flat to B flat is an octave.
