A rib was taken from a man to make a woman--says Genesis. Does that mean we men had a spare rib? Or are we one rib short?

It is of interest to note that a rib that has been removed will grow again, replacing itself, as long as the periosteum (the membrane of connective tissue that covers the bone) is allowed to remain. Whether Jehovah God followed this procedure or not the record does not state; however, as man’s Creator, God was certainly aware of this unusual quality of the rib bones.

It means that the bible is myth, not to be taken as literal, historical truth.

The aliens that created us, took DNA(marrow) from Adam's rib to clone Eve.

This is a typical case of cloning. God was obviously not so good at it, modern biologists would necessitate a much smaller sample.
Also, somehow the cloning went wrong, but the result was still interesting somehow.

Anyway, Adam lost a rib by the operation, and if it did not grow again, he had to finish his live with one less rib than all other humans.
Normally, Eva and all their descent should have had all the same number of ribs as Adam originally had, as you can check for yourself today.
    Again, a proof of creation?

    (just kidding)

Men and women have the same amount of ribs. God took one from Adam, but that doesn't mean the trait was passed down from his children. If I loose a limb, my son will still be born with both arms.
