I like the new answerbag better,how about anybody else??

I've gotten to the point I can barely remember the old format.

It's different, but definitely grows on you when you give it a chance. ;-)

i hated it at first but im being more active here now. it seems most all of my frineds have since left though.

I was here about a year and a half under the last version.

The shift to this format was a shock...but not for the change itself, but because of the obviously rushed job on putting it online when they did. This resulted in a HUGE volume of serious bugs that rendered AB essentially useless as a social Q&A site.

Yes, you could post questions, answers, and comments...but the functionality of so much else limited notifications of others that you had answered their stuff (so they didn't know and couldn't post additional comments), and more.

Had those types of bugs either not been there or had been less severe, then the negative impact would have been far less.

Nearly everything the last format did, this new format can do and more.

It's harder for trolls to anonymously hammer anyone, because DR's no longer exist. So that's great! I have to admit, though, that I kinda miss them...not because I DR'd people, but because I enjoyed the trolls who DR'd me without comment. I could post cool videos and what-not about them for others to enjoy! Ah, well. Small price to pay.

LOVE the messaging ability.

I haven't posted any polls, but I like the feature and have even participated in some.

I like the added filters they put in for the questions. You can filter by one or more means and also sort the questions differently, too.

People can withdraw their own request for friends if they wish. Couldn't do that before.

Debates? I'm not crazy about them, but it's an extra feature we didn't have before that some will enjoy.

They've got this Topics feature, too. Don't know what it's all about but again, it's something some will like.

There are other chanes I'd like to see made, and I've submitted my input with the justification behind them.

But most importantly, the ability for us to interact again like before was restored when the comment notifications were fixed!

For those who DON'T like it just because it's different...think how they'd have been upset had AB gone from THIS format to the previous on instead of the other way around! Then they'd be screaming for the return of the Polls and what-not!

It's different. And that alone doesn't mean it's bad.
