That study was not a study performed with a double blind basis (the only kind of research that can show a cause and effect link). The study was based on a food frequency survey (which are notorious for their faults, such as people mis-representing what they eat), and only showed that people who ate meat also got cancer, they did not rule out other cancer related factors, such as actual weight, smoking etc. It is like saying that of 10 people in a group, 9 ate smarties, and 8 got cancer, but not looking at anything else that may effect the cancer. This is the exact type of study that scares people and the media do not tell you about the study when they report it (which is irresponsible). All this study is useful for is showing that further research may be in order - but since it is unethical to subject people to a test that may give them cancer - there will never be a definitive answer.

You can't cut meat out completely. You need the protein.

If you wait a week there will be a link with vegetables, and another week it'll be fish (no that's already happened), then another week fruit.....
