And it may have come from Happy Days, because Fonzie was always saying "'Ayyyy", or Welcome Back Kotter, because Vinny was always saying it, too. To make it even STRONGER, someone added the F'n to the front, and now it's F'n-Aaaay.
(These are my ideas of where it came from, but I KNOW the first one is right, and the other... Well, it makes sense, right? LOL) ;-)

Which despite the positive connotations, turns out to instead be the nickname of a particular University of Oregon college coed renowned for her ability to suck the chrome off of a car bumper.
