I think what you mean is to put their name/address as the return address and not use a stamp...that way when they return to sender, it goes to them.
It won't work.
It would not make it almost to it's destination without a postage stamp.
They ckeck that first, then rubber stamp the date and codes, then send it on it's way.
So, if you sent it from NYC to LA, ... it would never make it out of NYC.
So if they found an envelope with a LA return adress at a NYC post office, they would know that it came from somewhere in NYC.
