Lemon oil is an effective wart remover because of its high vitamin C content. To use, simply place a drop of pure lemon essential oil on the wart. Repeat as needed until the wart is gone. Other home remedies for wart removal include aloe vera, tea tree oil, echinacea, castor oil, banana peels and duct tape.
On the Other: Won't Work for Everyone
Like all home remedies, using lemon oil on warts isn't guaranteed to work. Warts that are particularly stubborn or infected may require the attention of a dermatologist. Sometimes one particular method just doesn't work for everyone; if lemon oil doesn't work on your wart, try one of the other home remedies listed above.

It can't hurt to give lemon oil a try. Make sure to use pure lemon essential oil, not a lemon-scented oil that doesn't actually contain any vitamin C. Lemon oil is available at health food and specialty grocery stores, or online. Increasing your intake of vitamin C (via pills, juice, etc.) may also help heal the wart.
