The market for mouse traps is filled with different models, all with varying forms and functions. But a quick look at the options reveals the dominance of products marketed as reusable. Many of the traps offered at websites such as victorpest.com include instructions for quick "set and release." It is difficult to find bait-and-hook traps or humane traps that are not designed for easy reuse.
On the Other: Disposable Traps
Traps designed for one-time use are generally lethal. These include the many poisons on the market. Consider the d-CON No View No Touch trap, made to hide the mouse from view when it is killed. The whole trap, mouse inside, can then be disposed of in the trash.

The possibility of using your mouse trap more than once depends entirely on its make and model. Traps made for reuse will come with instructions on how to reset.
