<h4 class="dechead">On One Hand: Ingredients Outperform Botox and Collagen
StriVectin is a stretch-mark cream that consumers also use to reduce wrinkles. According to dermatologists interviewed in a New York Times article, the cream contains peptides that deliver the same skin benefits as collagen but in a more effective way. StriVectin's makers discuss clinical data that show the cream outperforms Botox, retinol or vitamin C treatments.
On the Other: No Contraindications
Although StriVectin claims to be more effective than physician procedures, there are no reasons why ordinary lotion would counteract the effects of StriVectin. StriVectin is essentially like lotion, but with peptides infused in the cream.
Bottom Line
Consumers can use lotion with StriVectin. There are no ingredients in StriVectin that would interact badly with lotion, since StriVectin is also a lotion.
