    Copier toner is toxic. Although the effects are often negligible because of the minute amounts people come into contact with, should the toner ever be ingested there can be disastrous results. However, in most instances the worst effects include irritated skin and the occasional headache.

    Not particularly. Toner is simple carbon and wax. You could eat a bowl of it and not get sick. On the other hand, it would be bad to inhale it, like any dust.
