Edgar Renteria was the last batter in 2 different World Series for 2 different reasons: In 1997, he won it with a walkoff Series-winning hit; in 2004, he made the last out against the Red Sox. Has any other player in World Series history ever done this?

    G'day Doctor Moe,

    Thank you for your question.

According to Wikipedia, there have been two others.

"Boss Schmidt of the Detroit Tigers ended the 1907 World Series by popping up and the 1908 World Series by grounding out. Goose Goslin struck out to end the 1925 World Series and won the 1934 World Series with a walk-off RBI single." Goslin was playing for the Washington Senators in the 1925 series and the Detroit Tigers in the latter match.

I have attached sources for your reference.

    Regards
