<h4 class="dechead">On One Hand: Your Reason for Cleansing Is Important
A review of Detoxify (including on the Detoxify website and in Best Drug Detox Reviews and High Times) reveals that many people use it (and similar products) simply to pass employer drug tests. The bulk of evidence indicates that products such as Detoxify do not work for that purpose (see especially High Times, consisting of reviews by individuals who should know).
On the Other: Medical Science Doubts Effectiveness
Detoxify brand products claim to remove harmful toxins from the body. While such a process seems beneficial, according to experts such as the Mayo Clinic's Dr. Michael Picco and the American Cancer Society, the human body typically takes care of this issue on its own. The medical evidence also suggests that products claiming to detoxify or cleanse the body may also be harmful.
Bottom Line
Detoxify brand products, or any similar products, should never be used in an attempt to fool employers and pass drug tests. Such products are also viewed as ineffective and unnecessary by established medical science.
