    Types of Leukemia

    Stem cells from cord blood are used to treat acute forms of leukemia, including acute biphenotypic leukemia, acute lymphocytic leukemia, acute myelogenous leukemia and acute undifferentiated leukemia. The cells can also be used to treat chronic forms, such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia, chronic myelogenous leukemia, juvenile chronic myelogenous leukemia and juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia.
