Help answer this question below.
I think I may be suited to the '50s but I deal well with being born late '80s
You know it. My mom told me I should have been living during the 40's. I love the music, the language, and the way they dressed. There are times I feel old fashioned, but also pretty open about things. Great question.
Nope. Fashion, values, art, or culture may have been cool in other eras, but I wouldn't trade those for the advancements in the medical field that we now have. It wasn't that long ago that women would frequently die during childbirth, vaccinations didn't exist, and surgery took place without anesthesia. No thanks!
in the past we where just getting use to technology so ever thing was cool, now we have gotten farther with technology so it dose not seem as interesting
like i love the old gaming systems better than the newer ones. i have the Sega Genesis, the NES & SNES the Nintendo 64
Yes i think i should have been born one or even two generations ago.
I've always been oldfashioned when it comes to relationships and family values and was lucky enough to meet someone that felt the same way. I'm not religious so its not that, and i'm very lively to be around. I just honestly don't understand why people my own age now avoid settling down and think the moment you have families your life has to end.
As it is now though all my friends my own age are still acting like they are teenagers are single and show no signs of ever wanting to stay with anyone so i feel in a lot of ways that i've outgrown them. I'd love for my girlfriends to meet someone and us all be able to go out on the group dates and day trips with my friends young families like my parents said they did with their friends when they were our age.
I think I was born into the wrong universe.
I see absolutely no need for religion, the idolization of football or other sports figures, the overwhelming need for money and material goods, or the need to worship political figures.
I was born in the right era. The 50's through the 70's were great. It's just too bad it's over. Everything is so cold hearted, vuolent and full of me first people. Damn shame. It's like on some sitcom. People are mean spirited and think it's cool. Even the last episode of Seinfeld puts them all in prison for being assholes to a guy because he's fat.
You betcha. I guess we appreciate old school values more than others. I love watching old shows, older music, even older cars. I figure I am what I am and that is the way it is.

You're reading Have you ever felt you were born in the wrong era? I always have felt I was born too late. I enjoy my era, but fit more the old-fashioned.

I feel like I would have been better suited for the 50s too.
