Help answer this question below.
"A study using a brain scanner to investigate the neural circuits that become active when people look at a photograph of someone they say they hate has found that the "hate circuit" shares something in common with the love circuit.
The findings could explain why both hate and romantic love can result in similar acts of extreme behaviour – both heroic and evil – said Professor Semir Zeki of University College London, who led the study published in the on-line journal PloS ONE."
"One major difference between love and hate appears to be in the fact that large parts of the cerebral cortex – associated with judgement and reasoning – become de-activated during love, whereas only a small area is deactivated in hate."

Once I thought about it, it made sense. If you say you HATE something, you can usually tell someone why, but if you LOVE something or someone, its harder to think of specifics. You just love them.
the question is put in a very witty manner.
I disagree. Hate is irrational to me, far more so than love ever could be. Hatred is found in racists, bigots, terrorists, murderers, none of whom are rational. Scapegoating is not rational, but that is what we do when we decide we don't like someone because of skin color or religion or ethnic background...we impute all the world's wrongs to that group and thus can focus our anger and frustration on that which is outside ourselves. Very convenient. Just my opinion. :)
What's your stance on abortion? If you are against it, why? And vice versa.

You're reading Hate and love are quite similar. One major difference is that hate retains a semblance of rationality. Thoughts?
