Question

Help answer this question below.

My boyfriend has been smoking weed since he was nine years old. What do I do to get him to realize it upsets me ?

I feel like he is on a different level than I am when he smokes and that he doesn't care. Yet , when his sister quit for 3 days, he did too! But, He knows it makes me upset and he won't not smoke for just one day. He does have a little respect of not smoking when I'm around him. Am I making too big of a deal?

not at all weed is nothing i use to smoke everyday and weed is non habit forming so when he says he needs to he just wants to smoke and doesn't care how you feel if he did he would quit for at least one day

Well I do think it's a bit unfair for you to ask him to change for you. It's one thing if you're concerned about his health but this is who he was before he met you so either accept him as he is or find someone new.

- The big reason I was upset is that he quit for 3 days just bc his sister did, then when she started again he did. Maybe she triggers all of his decisions in life? Thanks for your comment:)

Just let him smoke if it he wants to. My boyfriend smokes and he is very relaxed and happy. I wouldn't want to take away something he likes to do to pass time and relax. I bet he would love if you just tried it a little more and realize how nice it is.

- Well, heres the thing. I would, but I tried it and was fine, then all of a sudden I flipped out. I'm one of those people that gets major anxiety and goes crazy when I'm high. So sometimes I feel like he wants to be with someone that does it with him :(. Like maybe he would be happier
