Question

Help answer this question below.

do you think some people are more gifted on grappling and some on striking?

I think I am a strong striker due to my TKD experience. But I am about to learn judo to be a complete martial artist.TKD can kill a person instantly using vital point strikes without a doubt. But submission would give a chance to my opponent to give up so I can give mercy.Other than that,in a competition with rules like MMA,vital points strikes are forbidden. And most classes nowadays are lazy to give vital points training.I learn vital points from the founder of Taekwondo,General Choi Hong Hi in his book Encyclopedia Of Taekwondo. Its amazing how certain striking techniques would not be effective on certain parts of the body and some would. Some people say striking would lose to grappling. But considering vital points,I think when theres no rules, both would be equally essential.
