Help answer this question below.

My boyfriend had to go the emergency room to be with his daughter, she was admitted for a day.Well not only he stayed with his daughter the whole night in hospital room but so did his ex? He lives me never stayed away from home up until now.Was this ok?

    If his 'ex' is the mother of the child then she had as much right to be there all night as he did. They are after all the parents. What do you expect her to do? Stay away from her own child because you don't want them to be in the same room without you present? As your boyfriend has a child then you must expect that he and the child's mother will always be linked to one another via their offspring. They are still the parents whether or not they are together, and always will be. What kind of man would he be if he did not stay at the hospital when his child needed him, for as long as necessary? The child must always take priority - he was a father before he was your boyfriend. As you are doubting him and are not happy with him staying away from home because his child was sick then perhaps you should call it a day and pick somebody else without children as a partner.

    Yes, I think it was completely alright. How much could really go on with a child in the room sleeping? They were both probably so caught up in concern for their daughter that nothing else crossed their minds anyway.

    HIS DAUGHTER WILL ALWAYS COME FIRTS DONT TRY TO COME BETWEEN THAT BUT IF YOUR Q THIS I DONT KNO HOW WELL YOUR RELATIONSHIP WILL WORK BECAUSE THIS IS COMMEN SENSE. HIS DAUGHTERS IN THE HOSPITAL HE STAYS WITH HER TIL SHE GETS BETTER. IF YOU WERE A LITTLE GIRL AND SOMETHING HAPPEN TO YOU AND DAD DIDNT COME BECAUSE HE WAS IN A NEW RELATIONSHIP HOW WOULD YOU FEEL. THAT NIGHT WAS ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER NOT HIS EX.

    Your boyfriend is a wonderful father. You are lucky to have such a devoted man in your life. Remove your mind from the gutter and accept his relationship that he must maintain with the ex for the sake of his daughter.

    Well, yeah, it was reasonable, his daughter was sick. She needed him and her mother. Perhaps you could have stayed too? Does his daughter come and stay with you? Regardless of what happened with his ex, his daughter was ill and he probably needed to be with her and much as she probably needed him.
    If his daughter doesn't come to visit, can that be arranged so you and him can spend time together with her, the three of you.
    Anyway, whatever the outcome, I think it was okay for him to have stayed with his daughter, regardless of whether his ex-wife was there or not.

    Yes, that was pretty ok. The concern is for their daughter not each other. I think you are pretty safe and dont have anything to worry about.
