Is he a puppy? Sometimes young puppies (especially in toy breeds) need to pee or poo more than once at one time. If you leave him outside for longer this should fix this!

Sorry, but if your young dog is having accidents in your house...he is NOT YET 100% fully house trained!
Dogs that are fully trained to go potty outside....do it outside, unless they are sick, have a UTI, or other medical problem or are under some sort of really major stress situation.
This fellow needs a refresher course ASAP! The more accidents he is allowed to have the more convinced he will be about making this an undesired HABIT! (He is practicing doing the wrong behavior!)

just keep pushing them. we live on a top floor apt and have a balcony, out staff gets walked 2wice a day but she still insists off only doing her buissness once we are in bed at night and relaxing, she will go out and do it before hand but will still do it after, i have stopped feeding her later then 4pm now and just keep her outside until she has done the buissness, just keep pushing them, sometimes its jus there ruitine xx
