I'm overwhelmed by the changes, but I'm happy to see some old features wiped out of AB.

You're reading Which feature of the old Answerbag do you NOT miss at all?

I agree.
But frankly I find the new AB too complicated. I think they should have introduced the changes gradually.
I'm sure this issue has been debated on in the past, so there's no need for me to talk about it.
You know what, if I have a question in mind, I'd rather post it on Yahoo!Answers than on AB.

Well, I've said it before... Launch was premature (too many glitches), and there should have at least been a beta test, so things that were NOT included could have been added before it went live. That way, also, people would have had a chance to get used to it.
Even so, it's not that complicated. Actually, it's probably easier for some than the old layout... Maybe not as CUTE... I mean, all the buttons are a lot bigger, it's obvious what they do, points should be back online in a few days (see the blog), comments to comments (conversational) are back online, we have messaging, forums, etc., and being a new site, it's no more difficult to learn than any other. (At least in my view.) The main problem is that people are/were used to the prior version, and this meant they had to learn the site again. Many left for other sites (ironically, having to learn THEIR layout and system). I mean, damn-near everything is here that was before, and with patience and, in some cases, telling them, things that WERE missing are back, and things that are still missing will be.
Again, it's not harder, just different. What makes it harder? (I'm sure staff would like to know, too.)
BTW: Nice to see you, again.
