Help answer this question below.

I have a budget of £50K to spend on my new car, i have a wife and children who i would drive around, what is the best car to buy on the market today which best suits my needs?

    "J.P." is right about the Toyota's. But, I think, in today's market, the Prius might make the most sense. You don't say how many kids, but the Prius could handle 2 pretty good and 3 if they are still young. But, of course, the best part would be "at the gas pump, (which you would not see quite as often as with other cars)!

    Any automobile that Toyota builds, period.

    If you have this much money to spend, why not buy a 4-door Lexus, by Toyota?

    This vehicle, if properly maintained,will last you practically forever.

    Check its maintenance record and also the Camry.

    Each is an excellent choice.

    You could buy two Camrys for that amount of money.

    I would go with a Volvo. One of the estate versions, maybe the V70. Its a bit cheaper than 50k pounds and as a volvo it wont break and if it did then its relatively cheap to service. Alternatively, the Audi A6 is a great car. Also try the Audi Q7 but I have no idea how much that is in the UK.

    Are you talking pounds? I have no suggestions but where I live that is about $150,000. You could buy 2 or 3 for that price.

    If you want to eat it all up, get the Buick Enclave or GMC Acadia. The Saturn Outlook has all the same bells and whistles (made by GM, too!) but get more bang for your buck. Solid. 2008 models.
