Should the so called High Schools be banned and replaced by Home Schooling?

    No, for one reason. Even if the quality of home-schooling education is exactly identical to regular high schools, there is one thing the student can't get at home: exposure to lots of different types of people. Learning about all the different types of people and how to deal with them successfully (called "socialization") is an important preparation for dealing with people once the student graduates and goes to work and has to deal with real-world people.

    No, there are too many parents that do not have the ability or desire to give their child a proper education. It would lower the average level of education possibly as low as 5th grade. For many it would be public education or no education

    This society could not handle that sort of sweeping change. Few parents can really afford to have home-schooled children. It would be wonderful if they could, mind you.

    NO. many children do not have both parents at home. many families only have on parent and that parent either works and/or does care to take the responsibility of teaching their child at home. it would be a major setback for education in America. Homeschooling only works in certain situations. and, America does not have enough of these situations for homeschooling to be successful.

    Many of those who can sacrifice to afford the option have already exercised it. Just look at how home schoolers have been sweeping the spelling bees while the union so-called teachers are indoctrinating Al Gore's convenient lie and compulsory songs of praise for B. Hussein Obama.
