I've never returned a Christmas gift, ever.
The only time I've ever returned anything, would have been when giving toys to the kids when they were young, only to find out they didnt work ... the stores here pretty much only allow a credit for their store or replacement of goods - no cash refunds.
I do remember one toy I returned (I'd given to my son), and I really wanted that particular toy, so I took the new but not working toy, along with a screw-driver and new batteries, and when they replaced it I stood there at their counter, and tested it out right there in front of them rather than being disappointed on return home, should the replacement also not work. One of my braver moments LoL.
