I have a Ornofon OMB 5E stylus/cartridge on my home turntable.

Is this a decent stylus or is there a better model to replace it with?

The OMB-5E/OM-5E is a budget cartridge - one of Ortofon's cheapest models. There are numerous alternatives that can be purchased for a low price (i.e., under $200), from companies such as Ortofon, Grado, Goldring, and others. It is difficult to recommend any particular model without knowing what hardware you are using (e.g., turntable, tonearm, phono preamp). I would recommend going to an independent audio shop and speaking to one of the staff for a recommendation.
