Faxes can be sent over the Internet. You do not need your own fax machine or fax number to do this. There are various websites that allow you to use their services for sending faxes through the Internet. Some of them are free.
FaxZero.com
FaxZero.com allows you to send two free faxes per day. Complete two short forms, upload your file and then send your fax. Faxes can be up to three pages.
MyFax.com
MyFax.com works the same way as FaxZero.com. Complete a couple of small forms, upload your fax and it will be on its way.
PopFax.com
PopFax.com gives you a free trial to get started faxing over the Internet. After the trial, you must pay a monthly fee to keep using their services. PopFax.com offers faxing worldwide and they keep your documents on file for you for 30 days.
Advertisements
Free Internet faxing services usually include an advertisement on the cover page or on the back page of the fax. Paid subscription faxing services will not.
Requirements
Anyone age 18 or older can sign up for a faxing service. All you need is a valid email address. If paying for a service, most require payment through a credit or debit card. Some places accept PayPal.
