In this time of water shortage, should the government consider pumping saltwater from the ocean through the toilet/sewage pipes instead of fresh water from the dams? What are the pros and cons of this idea?

    The cons outweigh the pros, about 1,000 to l.

    First, ocean water is salt and salt rusts pipes.
    Second, ocean water smells. its really bad inside a home.
    Third, ocean water will not meet the quality standards of any federal, state or local law.
    Fourth, the same water you drink from your tap, is the same water used to flush your commode. this means that you would be drinking ocean water.

    Very bad idea.

    Good idea. They wouldnt do it tho, because it would cost them money
