Auto insurance covers damage caused to a vehicle. The insured pays a deductible established in the insurance policy and the auto insurance company pays the remaining costs to repair the damaged vehicle.

Auto insurance policies have personal injury protection. This protection secures payment for medical costs, lost wages and household costs for drivers and passengers of the insured vehicle.
Roadside Assistance
The insured parties receive assistance if the driver locks his keys in his car, the driver has a flat tire, the vehicle has a dead battery or the car is out of gas.
