Dialing 67 works on your cell phone in much the same way as your regular land line phone. It will cause your number and/or name to be blocked from view when you make a phone call. However, 67 will need to be dialed before each phone call that you wish for your number and/or name to remain unseen. It gives you the freedom to decide with whom you want to share personal information.
On the Other: Cell Phone Company
If you wish for your number and/or name to remain permanently unseen or blocked and do not want to deal with the hassle of pressing 67 each time you need to make a call, a change in your program plan may be best. Call your cell phone service provider and request this feature be added to your service.
Bottom Line
Dialing 67 does work on a cell phone as long as reception is available. It is an effective method for blocking your name and number from view to other callers. Deciding whether to keep this function permanently via a plan change is a decision that needs to be weighed against your call frequency and your monthly budget.
