The paint you use in your bathroom needs to be mold and mildew resistant and able to withstand repeated wiping and cleaning.
Brands of Paint
A few brands that are known for their durability are Valspar American Tradition, Dutch Boy Home, and Behr Premium Plus. From Benjamin Moore comes Regal Matte, Zinsser has a well-known PermaWhite and then there's a 2010 super-scrubbable ceramic paint from California Paints. These paints are also mold and mildew resistant.
Color Choices
If you have a small bathroom, you may want to choose a light paint color. This will make your bathroom look bigger.
Considerations
If you just paint over mold and mildew, they will resurface. Get rid of any mold and mildew before you paint. Choosing the proper paint is just as important as choosing the color. Take the time to find a good quality, durable product.
