  • There are several websites and online study communities that offer solutions to calculus problems, as well as individual tutoring on calculus concepts. Some sites allow users to enter an equation and find the solution, in addition to seeing the step-by-step process to arrive at the answer. Most of these websites do not advocate cheating and are best used as an extra resource in understanding calculus equations.

    Cramster

Cramster is an online study community of students, educators and subject enthusiasts in several areas of academics, including calculus. The website offers solutions to equations from over 40 different calculus textbooks for both high school and college calculus courses. You can also request a calculus textbook that is not available on Cramster. With a paid membership, students can click on the icon for their calculus textbook, click on a chapter, and select the problem to see a step-by-step solution. Students can post a question on the Q&A board for free to get individual tutoring from a Cramster expert. Cramster features live customer service via online chat. If Cramster learns that you use the site to cheat, it will refund your membership fees and ban you from the community. Students also may be banned if they copy solutions or repeatedly post unexplained final answers on the Q&A board.

    Webmath

Webmath lets users choose their type of math problem, plug in the values, and click a button to generate the answer. The website displays the answer and shows how it arrived at the solution. Use Webmath to solve calculus equations that involve derivatives and integrals. To solve for derivatives, type the numerator and denominator into the text boxes and click the button to differentiate with respect to the variable. Some of Webmath's features are not as advanced as other sites. For example, Webmath allows users to solve basic equations for indefinite integrals that involve only polynomials and trigonometric functions. Webmath also allows users to type in upper and lower limits to find the numerical answer to a definite integral, but it doesn't show the steps involved to arrive at the solution. For these situations, the website is helpful for double-checking answers to equations you've completed.

    QuckMath

QuickMath is a free service that allows users to enter an expression and enter the variables to either differentiate or integrate with respect to what the equation requires. The website processes user-submitted equations through a computer algebra package called Mathematica. Type the expression in the text boxes and click a button to solve and see the answer.
