<h4 class="dechead">On One Hand: Invisalign Works
Invisalign braces work best for closing small spaces and straightening front teeth, according to Board Certified Orthodontist Jerome Shurman. Invisalign works by using a series of removable trays that you switch out every two weeks. Invisalign is a more attractive choice for some people since it is not visible like metal braces are.
On the Other: They are not as good for Serious Conditions
If you have a severe overbite, underbite or back tooth problems, regular braces are a better choice. In addition, if you use an orthodontist, Invisalign will cost you more.
Bottom Line
Invisalign comes up with advancements to increase the scope of what they can correct. For example, by using rubber bands, they can correct certain bite problems. Another option, if you have serious problems, is to start with metal braces, and then switch to Invisalign for the remainder of the time.
