The Environmental Working Group (EWG) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have tested several samples of liquid infant formula. An average of five parts per billion (ppb) of BPA was present, with four samples containing ten ppb. Smaller babies or babies with larger appetites will surpass the harmful doses found in other strict research studies.
