Temp services charge up to 50 percent of the hourly rate per employed person. The company will offer a per hour fee, the staffing agency takes their fee, the employee gets the rest. Some staffing agencies also charge a monthly flat fee to cover the costs of hiring, drug tests and payroll. The employed person will not pay for services; rather the cost is paid by the employer using the staffing service as it is incorporated into the hourly rate.
