    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

In California, if you are one to 15 miles over the speed limit, you will pay a total cost of $146. If you are 16 to 25 miles over the speed limit, you will pay $266. If you are 26 miles an over the speed limit, you will pay $380. These are 2009 figures.
