<h4 class="dechead">On One Hand: Assess the Price Per Job
When starting a leaf raking business, one must look at the options involved in pricing a certain job. One option is to take each lawn and price it differently, which is more effective for smaller jobs and a smaller client list.
On the Other: Assess the Price as a Flat Rate
Another way to price out lawns for a leaf raking business is to have a flat rate of $20 or $30, depending on the area yards on your client list. The more jobs you have, the less you have to charge to make a larger profit and keep the price fair. Having a flat rate also takes the guesswork out of setting up estimates and having to debate with customers.
Bottom Line
The bottom line being there are many factors when it comes to pricing different leaf raking jobs. Having technologically advanced equipment such as a power rake will increase the price per job to help pay for expenses. Keep in mind that with just hand raking, your time per job increases as well.
