History
The name "Cherry Bomb" was originally used as a generic way to describe any muffler that made an engine obnoxiously loud and referred to the fireworks of the same name.

This muffler is produced by Cherry Bomb LLC and is available in stock at most AutoZone locations nationwide.
Type
Though the name "Cherry Bomb" elicits memories of the company's original cylindrical mufflers that were only 2 inches larger in diameter than the exhaust pipes, the Turbo is a more conventional rectangular baffled design.
Tone
Turbo mufflers have been compared to comparable chambered units from FlowMaster and MagnaFlow, and produce a low and mellow tone on most V8 engines.
Cost
Turbo's cost on average $21.52 as of November 2009 from such retailers as Summit Racing and AutoZone.
