Jadaism was founded by Abraham, he was the first one to acknowledge G-D as the allmighty, this occured aslmost 4000 years ago (the current year to the jewish calendar is 5765 and Abraham was born in 1948).

The Jewish nation was founded about 400 years later by Moses when the Jews left egypt.

Judaism was not the name of the Israelites religion. They were believeing in ONE GOD. From Adam, Aberham, Noah, to Moses and Jesus, and Mohammad, they all follow the same religion i.e. to Believe in ONE True GOD who is Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent. Therefore the believer are called "Sumitting to the will of God" or Submission.

Judaism is not even the name of the religion, it was the name of one of the 12 sons of Israel "Juda", his nickname was Jew and his tribe were represented by the name "Jews". Judaism is very new name, which was recognised much much after Moses.

    Hope it will help!

Judaism was founded by Abraham, who destroyed the idols his father had made when he became convinced there is only one God. The idea of "one God" is what made Judaism unique and new.

i was under the impression that Jews call Moses their founder, as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all Abrahamic religions. Abraham is part of their lineage, but not the actual founder of Judaism.

archaeologists and historians would argue otherwise, since there is no historical evidence to support the existence of Moses, other than the Bible, and they say the Israelites were actually displaced Canaanites who picked up the idea of monotheism while passing through the region of the shasu people, called YHW (similar to YHWH), which may also have been the name of their god.

Jews state that their religion was founded by Abraham when he rejected polytheism (which was his father's belief system) and began promoting monotheism through his belief in one single deity, whom Christians call God, Yaweh, or Jehovah, and to whom Jews refer without typing out the whole name. Example: G-d.

Judaism is the Jewish religious system. The Law itself was good and holy. It was given to Moses by God. However, later in the history of the nation of Israel, we see that the nation strayed, due to a large part of the actions and teachings of the religious leaders. This is why in Part, God allowed Jerusalem to be destroyed
In the first century C.E., Judaism in its various forms was not based exclusively on the Hebrew Scriptures.
One of the most prominent divisions of Judaism, that of the Sadducees, rejected the Scriptural teaching of the resurrection and denied the existence of angels. (Mr 12:18-27; Ac 23:8)
Although the Pharisees, who formed yet another important branch of Judaism, sharply disagreed with the Sadducees on this (Ac 23:6-9), they were guilty of making God’s Word invalid because of their many unscriptural traditions. (Mt 15:1-11) Not the Law, which was actually a tutor leading to Christ (Ga 3:24), but these unscriptural traditions made it difficult for many to accept Christ. The Law itself was good and holy (Ro 7:12), but the traditions of men served to enslave the Jews.
The religious leaders had established a series of traditions that they practiced along with the law, sometimes even allowing their traditions to take precedent over the law. One of these was to the practice of corban.
As explained at Mark 7:11, “corban” is “a gift dedicated to God.” The Greek word there rendered “corban” is kor·ban´, the equivalent of the Hebrew word qor·ban´, meaning an offering. Qor·ban´ is used in Leviticus and Numbers and applies both to offerings containing blood and to those that are bloodless. (Le 1:2, 3; 2:1; Nu 5:15; 6:14, 21)
By the time of Jesus Christ’s ministry on earth, a condemnable practice had developed in connection with gifts dedicated to God. In regard to this, Jesus denounced the Pharisees as hypocrites because they put their own tradition ahead of God’s law. Professing to safeguard for God what had been declared “corban,” they set aside the divine requirement to honor one’s parents. (Mt 15:3-6) A person might simply say, ‘Be it corban,’ or, ‘It is corban,’ regarding his property or some part of it. Pharisees at that time taught that once a person declared his possessions to be “corban,” or a gift dedicated to God, he could not use these to satisfy the needs of his parents, however needy they might be, though he could make use of such possessions himself until his own death if he chose to do so. Thus, although these Pharisees professed to honor God, their hearts were not in accord with his righteous requirements.
So who formed the Nation of Israel and gave them His Law? The Almighty God and Creator of course. It is in these traditions that clearly betray God’s will that reveal themselves as coming from men.

Judaism began with the covenant G-d made with Avram, which is talked about in the book of Genesis (B’reshit) in the Bible, starting in chapter 17. יהוה was the founder of the idea of calling separate unto Himself a people known as Israel.
