Be sure to include "smoking alternatives" to your survey.
People who use electronic cigarettes/personal vaporizers don't really consider themselves as smokers. The nicotine they inhale is heated and vaporized. They don't use fire to burn tobacco so there's no smoke. They exhale a water vapor solution.
Count me among those who use a personal vaporizer.
I might drink on special occasions ie. holidays or dining out.

Another member, Darkling, who's been on vacation for the past couple of weeks, doesn't smoke or drink, either. She'd tell you the same thing if she was here, and I doubt she'll mind me telling you, so you can add her to your list.

Well unfortunately yes I do smoke and have since the age of 19 years old. I have tried to quit many times and probably will try a dozen more times. As far as drinking goes, no I do not drink any alcoholic beverages.
