Question

Help answer this question below.

I had been on the pill for 11 1/2 years. I stopped taking the pill right after my last period. Now my period is 6 days late. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it cam back negative. Can the test be wrong? Or can my system be messed up?

After taking BC, especially after being on it for so long, sometimes it takes a while for the body to get regulated to functioning without all the added hormones. Sometimes up to two or three months. In that time, your periods as well as your moods and weight can fluctuate a lot and often. It isn't unlikely to be unable to conceive for six months to a year after stopping BC. Good luck! :-)
