Neither a boy or a girl should be spanked hard. Parents should only spank to get their children's attention. Parents should not spank to hurt. If a spanking has to be given, it should be no more than a couple of quick hand slaps across a clothed butt.

Once the kids get over the initial shock of getting their butts spanked, they are usually more ready to listen to their parents. Spanking children until they cry will only cause them to become angry, embarrassed and more rebellious.

As soon as the children are old enough to be reasoned with, the spanking should stop completely. Other types of non-violent punishment should be given instead.

The only way I advocate spanking is if it is consensual erotic spanking between two consenting adults. Children need to be disciplined not grow up being physically hurt or scared of being hurt.

Why? Do you want to hurt him more? What other purpose would it serve? Personally I don't think spanking either is the best answer. Prevention and teaching is always better than punishing. Spanking just releases parents' frustration.

U bet, he is more apt to be physically stronger and when u spank him it should be harder and longer. I have 4 boys, no girls but my brothes who have girls have the mom spank them, the boys get their asses busted with a belt or razor strap.

Well if you spanked them where I lived you would be in trouble as it is illegal. But personally, I see no need to spank children. But, as far as how hard, it only needs to be a short sharp smack to get their attention whatever gender.
