That is a hard question for me because I have many many sports and hobies that I injoy, but I am only good at some of them and not great at any of them. If I had choosen a few and certanly if I had choosen only one I would be alsome at it.

I have a three and a half year old and a two month old.
I show him lots of sports but secretly hope he chooses one to be great at.I will not choose it for him then twenty years form now hear form him that he wanted something else.

I have decided to train him and my daughter when she is older to do deadlifts, squat jumps and heavy ball throws. Speed and strengh is needed for almost all sports. I will be there speed and conditioning coach then let them choose the sport are sports.

I think they should play many sports. They should have the opportunity to sample all different kinds of things, broadening their experience and letting them find the thing(s) they like most.
