Help answer this question below.
Yes, definitely! Or maybe not. I don't know, I'm soooo confused. <sob>
HELP!
Being open and honest is a strength, too many people are afraid of what others might think if they spoke out, these people are called husbands, and believe me, talking about your feelings with your wife takes a lot of doing!!
On the other hand, being a wuss and whining about everything that isn't going your way is a definite weakness, and exceptionally irritating to those around you!
It could be either. I think how we interpret the value of wearing one's emotions is often based on how such expression is received by others. If others exploit those exposed emotions, then it makes the wearer seem weak. If others become emboldened to share their emotions or come clean about issues in their lives, then the wearer appears to have been strong. The reaction is so subjective and could go either way.
I personally think that it is true boldness to wear one's heart on one's sleeve. The issue then becomes whether you can trust those who see your heart to safeguard what they see.
I think not necessarily either. I take it being openly emotional includes expressing anger as well as pain/ love etc. Too much expression is a weakness but too little leads to stress and an unhealthy suppression of your true feelings. Emotional death!..in my opinion. Better to practice a healthy self-control but also allow yourself to open up and vent once in a while.
Good question.
Its a sign of weakness.
Everyone should have control over their minds and emotions.
Neither. There are some circumstances in which you can control your emotions, and some where you cannot. It's perfectly acceptable whichever way you react.
I don't think people are that gullible. But if there were such a job i would definatly apply for it.
I dont think that is a sign of either.
I've know some real hard men who have cried ,for the right reasons, and believe you me they are not weak men.
We see this quiet a lot with sportsmen......even heavyweight boxers...
Not sure if its either. I wear my heart on my sleeve and it has never done me any good. But if I had to choose I'd say weakness.
